Premaydena
Premaydena is situated on the Tasman Peninsula between Koonya and Nubeena. It was once the site of a substantial convict station, called the Impression Bay Probation Station. The station was opened in 1841, when the area of the Colony was overseen by Sir William Denison KCB (Lieutenant-Governor). By 1846, the station housed 445 convicts. Few buildings now remain, but the Superintendentメs house still stands, as does the Storekeepers cottage, which is now accommodation.
